The Seoul Writers Anthology has been a project that has been kicking around for about six months. However it is only in the last six weeks that it has started to feel real. We have sent our for, and received submissions. We have made our selections for pieces. We have argued until we reached a title that ‘pinged’ for us. We are finally, nearly, there!
Our members have worked hard all year to explore and develop their writing, and the anthology is a celebration of just that. It is the creativity of a community, put down in words, printed on paper, bound up in a cover and made into a real thing.
I’m not usually so poetically cliched, however I have just seen the cover mock-up today, and felt it was time to 1. start this blog, and 2. be as proud of our writers as I can be! I cannot wait until next month when we print.
